Secure credit card facility
The simplest way of ordering is via our online catalogue using your credit card.
We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Switch, Delta, Solo, Eurocard and JCB.
Other methods of payment
Alternatively you can contact us directly with your order by phone, fax or Email, quoting the product codes shown in the catalogue. You can print out your order without sending your credit card details and use this as a reference when ordering or simply fax the whole page to us. Payment can then be made by credit card, debit card, or by cheque.
Purchases made by post and paid for by cheque will be despatched after the cheque has cleared. Please allow up to 7 extra days for delivery in these cases.

Ring Sizing
Most of our rings are unisex and can be ordered in most sizes. If you do not know your exact ring size most jewellers will measure your finger size free of charge, even if you do not ultimately purchase a ring from them. (We have done this in our shop on numerous occasions). Alternatively you can come into the shop and we will measure your finger size.
Please note that all our ring sizes are given to the LEADING EDGE of the ring. Your jeweller will know what this means when you have your finger sized.
Sizing errors
We cannot replace an incorrectly sized ring free of charge a fee will be added to any subsequent re-sizing.
Packaging
All our jewellery is sold in our own presentation boxes displaying the Argent logo.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are available in the following denominations £5.00, £10.00, £20.00 & £50.00. They are insured under special delivery at a cost of £6.00.
Extras
Polishing cloths are available at a cost of £3.50. We also supply texture blocks, which give a satin finish. They are available in fine, medium and coarse at a cost of 50pence each.

Hallmarks
All items of jewellery exceeding the statutory weight bear the British Hallmark which guarantees the quality and fineness of the metal used. Additionally, most designer pieces and some more expensive items are hallmarked as a matter of course even if they do not legally require it.
Delivery & Returns
Jewellery will normally be despatched within 2 to 3 days of receipt of your order, if the item is in stock. If any item is out of stock or temporarily unavailable this may take 2 to 4 weeks and we will contact you by Email or telephone with details of the likely delivery time. You will of course be at liberty to cancel your order at that time if you desire. We will require a small deposit against the order; the amount will vary depending on the value of the order. The balance will be charged to credit card accounts at the time of dispatch. You will be notified by Email when your order has been sent.
Carriage Charge
All jewellery must be sent via Special Delivery in order to be insured. This therefore incurs an additional charge of £6.00 to cover postage and packaging. This guarantees next day delivery within the UK.
All deliveries are insured and will require a signature. Please ensure that someone will be available to sign for the parcel or it may be returned to us. In these circumstances the delivery charge will be non-refundable and a second charge will be made for re-delivery.

We cannot accept liability for items damaged or lost in transit due to inadequate packaging or sent by an inappropriate carriage method.
Trading Policy
Exchange
We are happy to exchange items to the value of the original purchase price. This is subject to the article being in perfect condition.
Refunds
We will only refund in accordance with your statutory rights i.e.: the item is faulty.
Seller's Return Policy
We can offer you a full refund (not including P&P) if you are not happy with your purchase. You must return your item within 7 days of receipt in the original packaging and in perfect condition. Please email or telephone before returning the item. See below regarding Pierced Earrings.
Pierced Earrings
For your protection, on hygiene grounds, we are unable to accept returns of earrings, unless they are found to be faulty.
